Fizzics Education - Space Science Party - VIC

Go ballistic at your next children's party!

- Launch several types of rockets and hold a searing hot (yet safe) space shuttle tile!
- See what the Big Bang really looked like.
- Make gooey Alien Slime (a polymerisation reaction for the chemists out there)
- Look through telescopes, ride the giant gyroscope and much, much more...
- Includes access to free science experiments emailed every month!

Designed from experience

Our parties have been designed by experienced science teachers and communicators to make sure that the balance is right; cool experiments that they don't normally see at school and all the fun stuff that you would see at a science toy store!

Plus we've run 1000's of science parties since 2004 so all experiments have been completely tried and tested.

Science Party Duration

The basic party program runs for 1 hour, however we can run science experiments for up to 90 minutes depending if you wish to add a cool liquid nitrogen show to the party.

There's a lot to keep them busy! The activities chosen by our presenter will be selected based on your average age attending, the number of children and the actual site of the party itself.

- Alien slime! - Gooey, gooey, gooey stuff!
- Caught in the Shadow - Model the difference between solar and lunar eclipses.

Fizzics Education exists to deliver engaging science to any audience, anywhere!

We've been a leading Australian provider of interactive science workshops and shows since 2004, delivering inspiring science programs to approximately 215,000 children each year via incursion and video conference across 400 schools and public spaces throughout Australia and around the world. Our science presentations are run in schools and in non-traditional environments such as movie cinemas, shopping centres, libraries, juvenile justice centres, hospitals, park lands, sports stadiums, retirement homes, university theatres and any other facility able to accommodate large or small groups of people.

Fizzics also works closely with cultural organisations and the corporate sector to deliver large scale science education projects. From preschool workshops to Year 12 presentations to public edutainment, the Fizzics team brings science to life and makes science learning fun and more importantly... memorable. We are an active corporate member of the Science Teachers Association New South Wales (STANSW).

Additionally Fizzics Education is a founding member of Virtual excursions Australia (VEA), a non-profit portal for people to contact leading video conferencing content providers across Australia. VEA is a network which includes over 40 cultural institutions that meets monthly to discuss best practice in running lessons via video conferencing and plan collaborative distance learning programs for schools, libraries, retirement homes, hospitals and more. In 2013 VEA members reached 100,000 students across NSW alone.
